The Australian Conference of Economists (ACE) is the premier economics conference in Australasia, bringing together economists from universities, the public sector, think tanks, the media, business and consulting.
In 2027, ACE comes to Melbourne from 6-9 July at RMIT Melbourne City Campus. The conference will provide a forum for research, discussion and exchange across a broad range of contemporary economic issues.
International headline speakers Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolfers will be joined by leading voices from Australasia and Asia, bringing together thought leaders, policymakers and practitioners for four days of ideas, discussion and connection.

ACE provides economists at all career stages with an opportunity to present their work to colleagues from across Australia and internationally.
The ACE 2027 Call for Abstracts will invite submissions across a broad range of economic fields and contemporary economic issues.
Submission categories, conference themes, important dates and presenter requirements will be published when the Call for Abstracts opens.
